The Filipino Bunkhouse was moved from Balestra Farms and donated to the Society by the Bunn & Yuki families in 2005. The structure was restored by the Filipino American National Historical Society (Monterey Bay Chapter) between 2006-2008 and depicts the living conditions of Filipino farm laborers in the 1940s-1940s.
The interior exhibits were redesigned by Dr. Ruben Mendoza and California State University Monterey Bay Museum Studies Service Learning students in Spring 2022.
